BIO: NEIL BENSON
Neil is a comedian, who has been performing sketch and stand up comedy since 2014. He has participated in four Camden Fringe shows with sketch groups Chaos Theory and Monkey Wedding. His comedy style has been described as off-the-wall and surreal, he has written sketches about a needy cat, a disturbed bus spotter and philosophical apple trees. He has undertaken an acting foundation course at City Lit, which taught him to face the audience and not fidget when speaking and trained with legendary comedy gurus Chris Head and Logan Murray who also said he should crack the odd joke.
Neil has a rare genetic disorder, which causes him to look like a 1980’s football hooligan but he smells good, so that’s nice. His ambition in life is to make people laugh and have a good time doing it.
