BIO: MARIA MAZ
Maria is a former teacher, 9-5er, 69-er and refugee from Croydon trying to slough off the reputation that inimitable borough carries.
She has now reinvented herself as a performer and writer, having always dabbled in the creative world via painting and latin dance. She is the Founder of Herstorical Tours, London’s immersive walking tour company telling women’s HERstories through theatre and comedy:
When she’s not sauntering through the cobbled streets of London in a Georgian wig lovingly recreating the 18th century sex trade, or bringing to life witch trials and executions in public she is writing and performing comedy monologues and sketches and posting them up on social media for shits and giggles and sometimes even on stage to paying audiences!

She joined Chaos Theory in 2024 and is looking forward to working with a group rather than solo for once! After all, as Groucho Karl Marx famously said in his Comedic Manifesto:
